Product Review-Glamisha Face Wash with Mulberry & Licorice Extracts

I have always been on the look out for a face wash that not just cleanses the skin but also immediately brightens up the skin post the wash. I came across a lot of youtubers trying out and recommending the products from Glamisha and was eager to try these out. The team at Glamisha has been really sweet and they sent over two of their products which have stormed Instagram and Youtube!

The brand Glamisha-Glamourous You! is based in Mumbai , and they bring Luxury Beauty and Personal Care products to the customers. Currently the products under their kitty include face washes, skin brightening cream, face lift cream, hair shampoo and hair conditioner. They are available in combos or single packs.

Mulberries are known for their anti-oxidant properties and may be used to promote a youthful and blemish free complexion. on the other hand, licorice has the power to make your skin brighter. it also helps in treating various skin disorders like eczema and skin rashes.

These two main ingredients in the Face Wash from Glamisha makes it different from the rest.

Price: The Tube is priced at Rs.350 for 100ml.

Shelf Life: 2 years

Packaging: The vibrant colour on the box and tube make the product stand out. Details about the brand, price, quantity, ingredients, directions on usage, etc are mentioned on the box as well as the tube. The product comes in a squeezy tube with a sturdy flip top cap which makes it easy to use.

Product: The face wash has a blue tint. A little product (pea sized drop) is enough to get ur face squeaky clean. It also instantly brightens up your skin, so make sure this face wash is in your bag at all times! The product fragrance is mild and unisex which is a bonus! Post usage, the skin tends to become a little dry, so make sure you use jut the right amount of product. It may not be suitable for dry skin types. However if you till wish to use it, make sure you use a light moisturiser post the face wash to keep your skin soft.

What the Brand Claims: All the products have pure ingredients, essential oils and extracts which make the products highly effective yet gentle.

My Take on the product: I love this product. The consistency is just right. And in places where the humidity level is high, the skin tends to get oily and look dull. This product brightened up my skin on the first try! and I have been using it for a while now and I love it. I love the fragrance and the colour of the face wash too. Post the face wash, at night, make use of the Glamisha Skin Lightening Cream with Kojic acid Dipalmitate and Arbutin. This will help moisturise and brighten up the skin tone with time.

  • The packaging, fragrance and colour of the product are unisex.
  • I love the fragrance of the product
  • The flip top is sturdy and makes it easy to use. No spill-outs.
  • The flip top makes it hygienic to use , the cap doesn’t fall off, locks well.

  • It has SLS and SLES

Where to purchase: The products can be purchased via or their website- . However, the website can be accessed only on mobiles.

So be sure to give this one a try, and let me know what you feel about the product.

I love the packaging.Tea treasure hasn’t failed to impress me, be it in terms of quality and taste of the tea and tea masalas, but also in terms of packaging. The attention to details is what impresses me the most.

The 15gm glass jar of tea masala is so cute, pretty and gourmet! It is a jar worth watching!

The sticker with its slogans and details on the tea, its ingredients and pricing simply amazes!

Steps towards a Perfect Cup of Tea:

  • Place 1g of tea (1 Tea spoon) in the pot per 150ml of milk and water.
  • Add a pinch of Chai Masala per cup Bring the mixture to boil. Let it boil for 5-7 minutes, according to your taste.
  • Then pour out completely.

My take on the Kadak Chai Masala:

kadak chai masala.PNG

I have always been on the look out for chai masalas and have tried my own combinations as well which works at times and fails many times :/ .

This is a life saviour!

The perfect blend of spices, a teaspoon of which needs to be added during the preparation of tea, and it gives you a really kadak chai that you are looking for. Be sure that you don’t add more spice, as it will make the tea really strong , unless you like it that way.

The perfect cup of tea to have during the monsoons whilst relishing a plate of piping hot bhajiyas; or when you need to energize yourself, go ahead and use this chai masala and get your cup of energy!

I am in love with this chai masala, as i don’t have to come up with my versions of kadak chai which fail me so miserably . All i need to do is reach out for this lil jar of fairy dust which will spread its magic!!!

The teas and masalas are a little on the expensive side, but trust me , they are worth every penny spent. And yes, once in a while it feels good to indulge and treat your tastebuds and senses.

My Rating : 4.8/5

The sample of 2gm came in a aluminium plastic sachet with a sticker on the front giving you these details : name of the company, name of the tea, type of tea, ingredients, directions and the catchy slogan. The sachet has the name of the company and its website printed on the back.

Directions  towards a Perfect Cup of Tea (on the packaging, as well as on their website):

  • Heat water to 80-85°C.
  • Place 2g of tea (1 Tea spoon) of tea in the pot for per 200ml of water.
  • Pour hot water from the top of tea-leaves.
  • Let it infuse for 3-5 minutes, according to your taste.
  • Then pour out completely.

Note: Can be infused at least 3 times.

My Take on the Tea:

Now , when I first saw this green tea , I was literally hoping its not like the ones I usually have, which taste bitter and makes drinking green tea a pain.

The name however made me feel at ease, as it had lemon mentioned. Little did I know that it’s a tea made up of three types of Tulsi which are harvested in a manner to give a hint of lemon !

Yes! You read it right. I was taken aback!

I then read the ingredients yet another time and I didn’t know there were varieties in Tulsi too! So I decided to read on it and share the information with you as well.

There are two main varieties of Tulsi-Ram and Shyam Tulsi. The leaves of Ram Tulsi are lighter in color, which has earned it the name ‘Gori’ – the fair one. Shyam or ‘Krishna’ Tulsi, is darker in color and more effective as a destroyer of kapha (phlegm). Consequently it is preferred for medicinal uses, as its aroma and its juice possess the property of being more ‘sharp’.
‘Vana Tulsi’, is also known as ‘kutherak’. It’s stronger aroma and its capacity to neutralise poisons is greater. This variety is useful in treating toxaemia, leucoderma, eye diseases and obstetric diseases.

I loved this tea. It didn’t taste bitter at all and it just relaxed my senses. I loved the hint of lemon in the tea which just made it all the more better. The aroma from the tea is quite calming and relaxing.

In short, its a green tea worth buying and indulging in, as it relaxes and calms your body and mind and yes , it has its own benefits towards your health as well.

It is a tea that i would love to have when i have had a hard day, and i just want to sit and unwind with a cup of tea whilst listening to some soothing music.

This is a tea that i would definitely go ahead and splurge on, since i didn’t frown while taking a sip! ;p

My Rating: 5/5

So yes, Tea Treasure is being associated with good times, relaxing, and overall well-being which are the base attributes of their products and yes, they haven’t failed at it!!!

I guess all barbeque lovers would like this treat.

Fair enough!! The taste is exactly what you can read on this bag of chips! Thumbs up! Quite a good one for all those Barbeque evenings!!!

But yes, given a choice between flavours, I would close my eyes and pick the Lays Hot & Sweet Chilli. Its been a favorite and I never seem to find it on the shelves! (I guess its everybody else’s favorite too L )

Additional Research 🙂 :

I happened to look up the internet on this Flavour and what I got was a whole lot of information on the flavours of Lays in different countries!! In Belgium there’s a flavour called “ Cucumber and Goats” ???! Russia has Ham and Cheese!!! So many different flavors- like Lays MAXX, there’s also Lays Appetite flavor ,Lays Sticks flavor,Lays Strong!! OMG..I wish I could travel around and taste all the amazing flavors.
